Whippets are sprinters - short bursts of activity, like running around the yard a couple times a day and they are happy. Like all dogs they do need exercise but are actually very low energy couch potatoes once they have turned and burned.  They will also do activites all day if you are out and about and want a sports partner, the next day they are happy to snuggle on the couch.  

Whippets are a very well kept secret. Because they do not seek attention from everyone in the room like a golden retriever or lab, may people do not know just how affectionate and cuddly they are. Add a couch and a blanket and you have an instant cuddle partner.

We usually start by sending potential new families a form to fill out, mostly basic questions and then talking points. If everyone is comfortable from there we move to a phone interview which gives us all a chance to ask questions and get to know each other better. If we do not have a current litter, or any up coming, we also have a network of several reputable breeders with excellent programs that we can point you towards!
